This expert has testified on a number of environmental issues including contaminant fate and transport, environmental forensics (determining the source and timing of chemical releases to the environment), compliance of response actions to the National Contingency Plan (NCP), apportionment between potentially responsible parties (PRPs), assessing whether past response actions were necessary and appropriate and historical standard-of-care/practice. His expertise includes hydrogeology, environmental chemistry, microbial ecology as well as the screening, selection, design, implementation, operation and costing of remedial systems; selection and evaluation of sampling and analysis programs; data quality and data interpretation, environmental audits and water and wastewater treatment engineering.   He has directed a wide range of environmental projects including Federal and State Superfund sites, large industrial sites, abandoned sites, mining operations, wood treating sites, gasoline service stations, and former manufactured gas plant and coal tar processing sites.  This expert has worked on hazardous waste sites contaminated with organic solvents, non-aqueous phase liquids (both light [LNAPL] and dense [DNAPL]), gasoline constituents (BTEX and MTBE), PCBs, chlorobenzenes, mercury, chromium, lead and other metals, and acidic and mixed waste in all environmental matrices.
